When this creature was still an egg, it got lost in an unfortunate incident involving a derailed hatchery train.

This would have been a sad story with a sudden end, if it wasn’t for the big bird. She found the egg, carried it to her nest and raised it as her own.

This was a long time ago. These days the creature helps out by fetching food for its younger siblings.

Just don’t tell the creature it’s adopted. The bird will tell when the time’s right.
