Now I’m imaging Kaz, Jesper, and Matthias standing around Karl Dryden, who’s proclaiming an announcement of the Council of Merchants in a shrill voice (”Don’t let the Dregs lead you astray!”). 

And Kaz, being the embodiment of -1000 chill, steps on the box Dryden’s standing on and pushes him off, to Dryden’s indignation. Then he starts addressing the crowd gathered around them like he did in the Slat in Crooked Kingdom about how the Council wearing gilded robes “doesn’t change their roles as thieves like the rest of us” and just fucking shreds Dryden’s flimsy arguments to pieces.

My son Kuwei would probably be Lafayette – seemingly mild mannered and in the background, and then just coming into battle SLAYING the enemies with his Grisha powers. (can you imagine Kuwei rapping Guns and Ships holy shit)

What do you think about the characters in the second act – Jefferson, Madison, etc.?

Hmm. 

I’d say Pekka as Jefferson, because he was Hamilton’s biggest rival in the White House. 

Van Eck as Madison, because while he’s still considered a threat, Hamilton and Madison did work together temporarily for the Federalist Papers (parallel to Kaz and Van Eck agreeing to work with each other for the kidnapping of Yul-Bo from the Ice Court)
